Description
GrayGuard Foundation coating is an acrylic elastomeric emulsion fortified with water resistant polymers. GrayGuard forms a liquid rubber membrane that seals and waterproofs a variety of surfaces. GrayGuard’s UV resistance, water resistance and natural gray color allows for use below grade as well as above grade on surfaces that are exposed to weather. Environmentally-friendly water based formula allows for clean up with soap and water.
Uses
Exterior concrete basement walls (above and below grade), polystyrene/ Styrofoam insulation board, poured concrete walls, foam, wood and more.
Application
Apply GrayGuard using either a brush, trowel, or airless spray unit (suggested tip size .021 to .025). Apply material to a wet film thickness of 60 mil (1.5 mm or .059 inches). To achieve a thickness or 60 mils, apply material at a rate of 150 square feet per 4.75-gallon pail. Allow material to dry and cure for 24 hours prior to application of foam or drainage boards or backfilling.
